What information must I enter about my Soul Center and proposed Non-Profit Company? #
The application asks separately about your existing Soul Center and the new Non-Profit Company (NPC). Do not copy information from one section into the other without checking that it is correct for both.
Existing Soul Center details #
Enter the current Soul Center name, contact person’s full name, phone number, Christian Leaders Alliance account email, physical address and postal address.
The email must match the address used for the person’s Christian Leaders Alliance registration. Christian Leaders Alliance South Africa uses the Soul Center name, contact person’s name and matching email to decide eligibility.
Proposed company details #
Enter:
- the main purpose for which the NPC will exist;
- how replacement or additional directors will be appointed in future;
- the company’s proposed email address;
- the month in which its financial year will end;
- its registered physical address in South Africa; and
- its postal address.
A registered address is the official physical address recorded for the company. Use a real South African address where official company communications can be dealt with. Do not use an address without the knowledge and authority of the person or organisation responsible for it.
A financial year-end is the final month of the company’s yearly financial reporting period. Choose it deliberately. Changing it later is a separate company process and may affect accounting and filing work.
Choosing the main purpose #
The portal provides purpose options. For many Soul Centers, “Religious Worship and other religious community outreach activities” will fit. Select the option that truthfully describes the proposed NPC’s main purpose.
If the organisation’s real activities do not fit the available option, do not select a convenient answer merely to continue. Use Start My Company Support first.
Before you continue #
Check spelling, email addresses, province, town, postal code and every address line. These details may be used in company documentation and later official records.
